Wald & Wiesn is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters in the heart of nature. Hiking trails, bike routes, and ski slopes start right outside the door – ideal conditions for active breakouts and inspiring outdoor sessions.
From Ski Hut to Mountain Hotel
Vision
It all began with the takeover of the old “Boden Balderschwang” ski hut in 2018. Even then, it was clear: with our own venue, we could offer our clients short distances, maximum planning security, and comprehensive service. The original hut was charming, but not sustainable for year-round use, modern event formats, and professional conferences.
We immediately saw the potential of the location: quiet, secluded, yet easily accessible – ideal for productive seminars, workshops, and creative team events in nature. With this vision, we started the project to turn an old ski hut into a modern mountain hotel with a tailored event offering. In close coordination with architects and construction partners, the ski hut was completely renovated within nine months and opened in December 2025 as the Wald & Wiesn mountain hotel.

With 135 m² of space, our Gelbhansekopf conference room offers enough room for conferences with up to 80 people: ideal for meetings, conferences, and presentations on a larger scale. Sound-absorbing partitions, state-of-the-art event technology, and a generous panoramic window front ensure an inspiring, professional, and quiet working environment.
Whether theater seating or a classroom layout, banquet seating or an open workshop setup – our conference room can be designed completely freely and adapted to your individual conference format. For smaller events or individual focus groups, the room can be flexibly divided into three segments.
